Happy Halloween!

Garrett has been so excited to wear his costume and the day final arrived! We started with a quick visit to the Evans' Family and then headed out to Trick or Treat. Gannon really didn't appreciate having his monkey costume on his head so most of the night it was off. We had a great time watching our little Buzz Lightyear this year.

I wanna ride the bus!

Garrett has been telling us lately that he wants to ride the bus. If we are driving and he sees a school bus you'll hear in the backseat say, "I wanna ride the bus". Atwater FFA goes on a Corn Maze trip every year so this year, Garrett got to ride the bus! He was so excited to spend the evening with Dave and all the big kids for a trip to the pumpkin patch. Dave said he was so excited when he saw the bus pull up at the school that he wouldn't even eat his dinner!

Wonder Pets!!!

In effort to create some potty training excitement Grandma bought Garrett a pack of big boy underwear. Wonder Pets our his favorite so he was very excited - to put them all on. Any time he puts on underwear all of his clothes have to come off, except his shoes! The underwear came in a three pack and of course he had to put them all on so here is the result. Way to funny, although he still wants nothing to do with the potty...some day.

4 Years and a birthday!!!

Dave and I like to incorporate whatever the traditional gift for anniversaries that particular year into our gift. So this year was Fruit and Flowers. I really wanted to get Dave new saddle bags for his motorcycle, well I knew that was something he wanted, and of course that didn't fit the theme. So I put my creative thinking cap on and decided I would YouTube how to make money flowers. There was a great little training video so I thought, I can do this. With the help of my mom's bank I picked up crispy bills and went to creating flowers. Dave seemed pretty excited about the flowers left on his vanity in the morning!

The real present was given by my mom. She offered to watch the boys for the weekend so for Dave's birthday I surprised him with a night in San Francisco and Wicked play tickets. We had a great time together and of course missed the boys!!!

Columbia

We spend the weekend camping in Columbia and visited a few of our favorite spots. Railtown is one of Garrett's favorites, you get to play with trains, climb on trains, and even ride the train. Dad and Dianne joined us for the day and it was great fun. We of course had lunch at this great little saloon/restaurant that has good sandwiches and the coldest beer in town! There was a man playing his guitar and harmonica in the street and I swear Garrett could have danced and played his air guitar all day. Thanks to cousin Allison he even now has his own harmonica.

49er RV Ranch

Another fun camping trip!!!

Dave and I love to visit Columbia at least once a year so we decided to make a camping trip out of it this year. After researching (Dave of course) camping spots in Columbia we decided that 49er RV Ranch was the place to stay. Thank goodness it was a quick drive up the hill so we didn't get there too late and it wasn't dark. The cutest little old man said, "Oh, we'll be right out to help you park." I was thinking how cute, where were you on our first trip! Little did I know that every little old camper in the place would join us for the event. It was quite a tight little space so there were several neighbors that did have to move their trucks in order for us to park so the help was much needed. The little guy kept telling Dave, "you're doing great son keep up the good work." The little old man's wife came over to me and said, "honey, you don't even need to cook dinner, we have hot dogs and beans at the club house!" Yeah for me!!! After setting up we joined the group at the fire circle for dinner.

This was a great camping spot and we can't wait to return next year!

Gannon is 9 Months Today!

Gannon is 9 months old today and boy does time fly. It is so fun to watch his little personality come to life. He has master crawling and discovered the stairs this morning. He is almost tall enough to get his little leg up the step. This is a whole new world for me as Garrett never was tempted by the stairs. Gannon's second tooth has popped through and doesn't seem to bother him.

Pull out the camera and he is all smiles!

For a preview of his 9 months picture visit the website below:

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we took the boys to play with Jax at the pumpkin patch. The weather was perfect and the boys loved it. Garrett must have spend 10 minutes straighten the pumpkin display. He loves everything to be organized. Just like Mommy!!! The Angels won the baseball game right before we left so Dave and Garrett didn't have to change their shirts and Daddy was in a great mood! Before we left Garrett was trying to pick a pumpin and was having a hard time. So we try showing him a good one and he would answer one of two ways - "that ones dirty" or "it broken". It was really hard to convince him that we would wash it when we got home. He settle for a dirty one and requested a wipe in the car. We must have been half way home before he said he was done cleaning his pumpkin. What a funny little guy.

Jax, Gannon and Garrett

Just like Gannon!

Now that the weather has finally cooled oCheck Spellingff it was time to pull out Garrett's old pajamas with feet for Gannon. So of course after Garrett's bath he wanted to have pajamas just like Gannon's. Thank goodness I had picked up a couple with feet for Garrett so I was prepared. Every night since Garrett has requested the pajamas like Nannon (Garrett's name for him). Gannon is 2 inches taller than Garrett was at this age so his feet pajamas are too short. Garrett woke up this morning to find Gannon with socks on, not his feet pajamas. He would not go downstairs until Gannon had the correct pajamas on. So I guess I better head to the store today to buy a couple new pairs for Gannon. I'm sure when Garrett grows out his stage of dressing like Gannon, Gannon will want to be like his older brother.

Yummy to my tummy!

As you can see, Gannon totally enjoyed his little biscuit! Wow what a mess. We headed straight to the bath after this one!

Our Little Angels Fan!!!

Garrett has turned into a huge baseball fan, well an Angels fan at least. Since he was just old enough to stand Dave would hold him up to the tee (which as grown with him) and say "Now batting, Mr. Garrett Gossman". So last week one morning Garrett wanted to get the bat and tee out to play. He obviously wants to play all positions at once! He stood at the tee with his glove on, holding the bat and the ball at the same time. As he approached the bat he said, "Now batting Mr. Garrett". He runs around the island in the kitchen and says, "I run the bases mom". He is so funny!

Look out here comes Gannon!

Yeah, this was a big weekend for Gannon! He learned to crawl this past week and wow is he picking up speed! His farthest stretch so far has been from the bookshelf in his room to half way to the bathroom. Not only did he learn to crawl, he showed us all weekend how he really want to stand too!!! Garrett is so funny when Gannon is crawling, he wants to crawl too. Go boys!

Yeah - I can stand!
Almost on my feet
See I can stand
Check me out - I can move!
