Garrett being silly

Dave has always wanted John Lennon glasses so I found these at the party store. I didn't know Garrett is just as crazy as his dad!

I tried forever on Saturday to get a good picture and finally got this one on Sunday!

" I'm not looking mom",

Running from the camera...

Still no luck.

Valentine's Dinner

Valentine's Day at the Gossman's. How sad that I can't remember what Dave and I did on our first Valentine's together, but every year since we have had a cute dinner at home. It's such a rat race to go out to dinner and when you have a newborn for two of the four years it adds to the challenge!

Garrett wasn't sure about holding Gannon...

Gannon wasn't very excited about his Valentine's!

My boys at the dinner table.

Our Valentine's dinner table. Garrett was so cute, he saw the candles and said "Wooo"!

Gannon - Childrens Hospital

Below are pictures of our little patients stay at Children's Hospital. He was released on Tuesday morning after 24 hours off the oxygen. We are home now and he is still a little congested, but is doing much better. I'm sure it was as nice for him to sleep in his own crib as is was for me to sleep in my bed - well a bed for that matter! It was nice to sleep without watching his oxygen monitor all night!

Gannon sleeping in his crib!

With Grandma (my life saver) in the ER waiting for our room - how cute is his hospital gown!

Aunt Taylor's visit.

Don't I look lovely...by the way that couch was my bed for 5 days.

Poor little guy on oxygen. So sad, but still so cute.

Gannon Update

Gannon is doing good this morning, he was taken off oxygen and seems to be remaining stable without it. His doctor came in this morning and has ordered a respiratory therapist to do chest thumping (he had a fancy name for it) to break up a mucus plug in Gannon's lungs. If that goes well and he remains off the oxygen we might be able to go home tomorrow. I would bet we will be here for a couple more days because of Gannon's age and small size.

Dave had his first experience of our nights at the hospital last night. As he put it he enjoyed a few hours of sleep all 6 foot of him on half of a 4 foot pull out sofa with his wife in a deep snoring sleep and a hacking baby in the bed next to Gannon!!! He can't wait for another night. He swears this is the next best thing to Club Med! With the snoring I guess I got a good nights sleep, if you call 4 hours a nights sleep. In mommy world I would say that is a pretty good night of rest since it was pretty much 4 hours straight.

Big brother Garrett is doing good with all his days and nights without mom and brother at home. He enjoyed a little Milk Judging road trip with Daddy on Friday/Saturday and was quite the trooper. We look forward to getting home to give him a big hug.

Check back for more updates....

Gannon's Visit to Valley Children's Hospital

Dave and I made a trip to the ER in Merced on Friday morning around 3 am to find out that Gannon was positive for RSV. So around 6 Gannon and I rode in an ambulance down to Valley Children's in Madera. He is doing better, but remains on oxygen. His doctor wants to monitor him for 24 hours once he is off the oxygen to make sure he is breathing stable and then he will release us.

Friday was quite emotional for me as Mommy, but I have found my way around the hospital (which took a day or so considering it's like a castle). Once I got a little rest I was doing much better. Thank goodness my sister lives one exit down the freeway so I have been able to leave and shower at her place, sterilize bottles and rest a bit. Grandma hung out with Gannon when I would so I could go and grab a few things that we needed for our extended stay!

We hope to go home in the next day or so and once we are there I will post pictures of our little patient. Check back for updates.

Little Stud Muffin

Garrett is such a pro at Great Clips! Dave says I'm a freak because Garrett gets his hair cut so often. I can't help that I like his hair short and clean cut.

Garrett sharing

Garrett is a great big brother...he loves to share with baby Gannon!

If Gannon is in his swing Garrett is sure to share his Wonder Pets with him!

and what would an outfit be without pants full of stickers.
