Fresno Zoo

We took Garrett & Gannon to the Fresno Zoo to get out of the house for the afternoon yesterday. I do believe this was our first out of town family outing with all 4 of us since Gannon was born. Gannon and I have ventured to Fresno to visit Taylor & Robin and Garrett has gone with us a few times but we usually leave Gannon behind with Grandma so it was exciting to get out of the house as a family. Gannon continues to be a trouper along for the ride as you see below. He was content to sit in the stroller while Garrett rode some rides at the kiddie land place.

Garrett is so cute on the little rides.

We have to ride the Carousel every where we go.

Garrett wasn't real sure about petting the aminals.

Dave and Garrett checking out the "oranch" birds. I will say they were more orange than pink for flamingos!

Dave and Garrett feeding the giraffes - well Dave was feeding them. Garrett wasn't too sure about feed once their big tongues came out.

Garrett Learning

Garrett has learned his colors and shapes in the last month or so. About a month ago you could call out a color and he would pick it out of the stack. Now he can say the colors - orange, blue, pink, purple, white, black, yellow, brown, and green is a little tricky still. We are so excited, but with this added knowledge comes extra selection for him! I was feeding Gannon the other night and watching Dave grab a cup from the boys cupboard as Garrett is screaming at him - no no no - oranch dadda, oranch. So Dave had to put the blue lid back and switch to the orange. It is so cute to watch him grow. I swear every morning last week he came running into our room to give me the report on what color shirt daddy had put on him.

Shapes have been added to the list of skills Garrett has - if you cut his sandwich in a diagonal he will gladly tell you that it is a triangle now.

With his continued sponge of knowledge we really need to be careful what we say around him as he is starting to repeat what we say and do. His new word is "Alright" thanks to extra daddy time. His other new action last week after watching Papa use the stud finder on the wall, was to grab the tool himself, put it up to the wall and carefully make a little mark on the wall.

Garrett is too cute!

Baseball Fans

Dave has his heart set on Garrett & Gannon being Angels fans...Gannon is ok with that - for now anyway!

Look A Like

Gannon - 10 weeks

Garrett - 10 weeks

I get tons of comments that the boys don't look a like. Does Garrett look more like daddy and Gannon more like mommy? They both got the blue eyes, but not really the same shape. Who knows, time will tell. For now you be the judge!

2 Months Already!!!

Gannon is two months already, wow time flies. He is such a good baby - I thought Garrett was easy and Gannon is even easier. He went to the doctor yesterday for his two month check up and weighs 14 pounds and is now 24 inches! BIG BOYS at the Gossman house.

Garrett playing with Gannon!

What a difference in size - Garrett is so tall compared to the little guy and fast. I tried to get him to lay still for a second to take a picture and as you can tell I barely got this one, Garrett is turning to get up.

Gannon was in the St. Patrick's Day spirit thanks to Grandma!

Gannon loves his baths - we call them his spa treatment. He loves to have his head scrubbed. It's so funny that at two months you can tell such a difference in their little personalities. Garrett hated taking a bath!!!

Our Limo Ride

Here are a few pictures of the new ride for the boys.
