Last year when the boys were home for the summer I created a little "school" area in Garrett's room. I didn't want him to lose any knowledge while being home so we practiced and did a calendar at home. This board is now in the playroom and the boys love to add the "numbers" to the calendar. Gannon more than Garrett loves to put the numbers on as big brother Garrett directs where to put the number. Gannon doesn't quiet understand or care for that matter where each one belongs. He'll put it anywhere and even upside down. Garrett is patient when he does this and will tell him where to put the number, but if it's upside down he waits until Gannon walks away to correct it. Funny to watch. We also practice colors and letters on the board. New this year we added a clock to the routine (no in the picture). Each number is on a shape that are different colors. Garrett is in charge of telling the number and putting in the correct spot on the clock while Gannon tells us the shapes and colors.
