This summer we haven't gone on any day trips and I haven't really done much other that play with the boys and study! My test was Saturday and Sunday morning with that behind me I really wanted to get out of the house. Out of Merced for that matter! Robin had told me her Mom had passes for guests to the Monterey Aquarium that we could use so knowing we would have $60 on admission that was the place to go! Garrett had been twice in the past and Gannon once as a baby, but neither remember too much of the aquarium. It was so fun to watch them get excited about all the exhibits. Garrett was walking around as soon as we got in explaining what he knew of the creatures. At the entrance there is large whale suspended from the ceiling so I mentioned for the boys to look at the whale and was quickly corrected by our child that it wasn't a whale it was an Orca! We also explained to Garrett that there was a huge jelly fish exhibit and on the walk there he warned us that we couldn't touch any of the jelly fish because they will sting us. I swear this kid is crazy smart, in my opinion of course! And they say television isn't good for kids... he's learned all this on the Wonder Pets and Diego!
It was a great day and Garrett's comment multiple times at the aquarium was, "this place is amazing". Yes, Garrett it is an amazing place!
Thanks, Cindy and Sally for the guest passes!
